Bonjour Lyna,
I have finally worked through all your data from March 2007. There are 2 distinct Bertrand families into which my Hamilton ancestors married into. Merci de m'avoir fait faire cette découverte. The Caroline Hamilton (a Boarder) in a 1911 Census, was Caroline Leclerc who started in Montreal the "Assistance Maternelle, pour les mamans pauvres et enceintes". She is a Boarder because she was living in a Residence for women who had lost their hearing -I had always heard of a Mrs Hamilton who lived in such a centre on St Denis St. - now I know who she is.
