I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is Edward Bennett. He enlisted 9 Aug 1862 at Fort Winnebago, Columbia Co. WI. He was b. 6 Jul 1831 in Lancashire England, the son of James Bennett & Sarah Higgenbotham. I need birth, death & burial info for James & Sarah, also the names and birthdates for their other children.
I need the birth & death dates for his first wife, Elizabeth Ellison and where she is buried, the names of her parents & their birth, death & burial info, and the names & birthdates for their other children.
I also need the birth, death, burial for his second wife, Janette Hume and the info for her parents & siblings.
I need the date of death for Edward Bennett.
This is all the information we have. If you can help us fill in any of our blanks we would be grateful. In your posting you mentioned several Census records. What place were they taken at?
