Hanson BENNETT from St. Mary's Co MD, m. Elizabeth DAVIS 1797 > Barnwell SC
I am seeking parents, siblings, children information of a man named Hanson BENNETT who lived in ST. Mary's Co. MD until after 1800. He married a woman named Elizabeth Davis there in 1797. Another man also living in St. Mary's MD in 1800 named Benjamin BANNER married a woman there (also in 1797) named Ann DAVIS (possibly sister of Elizabeth Davis??) and BOTH families moved to Barnwell Dist SC between 1800 and 1810 where they show up next to one another in the Barnwell census.
Later, a later man also named Hanson BENNETT marries Benjamin Banner's granddaughter, Kate Gill in Barnwell.
I am trying to figure out the connection between Hanson BENNETT (Who were his parents?) and Benjamin Banner.
I know an Elizabeth DAVIS married a John Broadey also in St. Mary's (I think 1770's??) who may also be connected as Bejamin Banner's sister, Lydia married a man named Broadey, Brawdey or Brauda (sepelling variations.)
Who was this Hanson Bennett. Thanks for any info.
