I am looking for descendents and ancestors of Prosper Bennett b. 1812 MA. He is not to be confused with others with the same name in MA at about the same time. He married Martha Amanda Emma McLain 6 Feb 1836, Athens,Ohio.
She was b. 1818. Their children were:
Lemuel b. abt. 1840 Ohio, burial Durham, Roger Mills, OK.
Esther Leyan b. 1837 Ohio m. Samuel Steward
Arthur Charles b.1839 OH d. 1913 McDonald Co. MO
Mary A. b. 1845 Ohio
Sarah Melissa b. 16 Mar 1843, Athens OH d. 15 May 1906 Roger Mills OK m. Samuel Chester Roberts
Thomas M. b.1850 OH
Joseph P. b. 1852 IA d. 26 Aug 1919,Anaconda, MT m. Estella Horne b. 1866. dau. of James E. Horne and Rebecca Osborne.
(J.P. is my wife's line)
Martha A. b. 1859 IA
In the 1850 Census there was Simon age 10 listed. Lemuel and Simon are probably the same person.
Any information will be appreciate. I do have some information and am willing to exchange.
