I too have the 1850, 1860, 1870 census records showing them in Saugus MA.
Edwin Mansfield & Abigail Stackpole were married 5/30/1847 per Saugus, Essex, MA Vital Records at rootsweb.com.
Edwin b abt 1826, d 10/18/1878. both in Saugus.
Abigail b 8/10/1830, Dover NH; d 1/10/1898 ??

I have a notation that Betsey Bennett was 'of Sanford' ME.
What do you have on the Bennetts of Sanford? Any daughter born about 1810: Betsey, Elizabeth, other?

There is a lot of info on the internet re: Stackpole family. But I have not found much on Stephen G, son of Stephen and Philomela (Grant) Stackpole. I have that pedigree back to the Irish Immigrant James Stacpole. The same for the Grants back to Scotch Immigrant James "The Drummer" Grant. These families are connected to the early 'Great Works' and Berwick Parish which became Kittery, York, ME.

How are you connected?
