I have recently found additional information on early Bennetts of New England.
I have New Hampshire- Maine, Mass. Bennetts.
I belive that our family comes from Anthony Bennett b.c 1650? England. Married Abigail_______
They had 5 Children:
1. Anthony (1) b.c. 1679
2 John b.c 1686
3. Abigail b.c 1688
4. Peter b.c. 1680?
5. Andrew b.c. 1680?
Anthony is believed to be the nephew of Richard Bennett of Salem - Richard's wife was Sybil.
Anthony immigrated to New ENgland it appears with his step-father Richard WIndow (WIndowe, WInthrop??) and after Richard's death Anthony was put in the care of his Uncle - presumed to be Richard Bennett.
