HENRIETTA KENNEDY was born about 1774?, possibly at Durisdeer, Dumfries. She married a ROBERT BENNET, a ploughman and had one known daughter JANET BENNET born about 1801 and who died at Moniaive in 1881. Janet had married THOMAS WILLIAMSON born about 1794 and who died at Moniaive in 1875. They had two known children - THOMAS WILLIAMSON and HENRIETTA WILLIAMSON born September 1831 at Glencairn/Moniaive and who died at Moniaive in 1876. She had married ALEXANDER BUCHANAN born Glencair about 1834.
The surname Bennet seems also to have been recorded in various documents as Benoch, Bennoch and Bennock.
