Dear Janice,
Thanks for your reply. I mentioned to my brother about your having one of Ulric's violins, and since he is also mandolin player, and a member of the Providence Mandolin Orchestra, he was quite interested. He likewise learned to craft mandolins, and was wondering if it were possible for you to take a couple of digital photos of the instrument, that I could send as attachments to him, since he is presently trying to collect photos of various instruments made by Ulric, to document his craft's development during his career. He has a good eye for detail, and already, has located three other owners besides yourself who have sent him photos of their instruments to help in this project. Seems Ulric developed his craft further and further with the creation of each new instrument, experimenting on various details. Ulric's expertise as a cabinetmaker helped to this end, undoubtedly.
