I am looking for Matilda Bell's family. She was born 1810 in Tennessee and married Samuel Irwin 05 Apr 1825 in Roane County, Tennessee. They had some children in Tennessee and then had the rest of their children in Alabama beginning in 1836. They moved to Texas in the 1850's. Family legend has it that she had a brother named George and a sister named Jennie. Family legend also said her father was Governor Bell, but I think that was a joke, as I researched the Governor Bell of Texas in 1850's and found that he could not have been her father. If anyone has a family that might fit this description, I would love to hear from you. Thanks, Sandi
