Isaac W. Bell son of Isaac Bell served in Co. A, 4th Miss Cav during the war of northern aggression and in his old age lived at Beauvoir with my great grandfather Julius Thomas Havis. During his stay he married a widow lady Mary F. Johnson Havis on February 16, 1923. I am trying to find information on this lady and her first husband Mr. Johnson. Her second husband was my great grandfather who passed away on April 12, 1922. I need her maiden name for my records. The marriage records only list her as Mrs. Johnson. According to the 1920 census she was born in Mississippi and her father was born in Georgia and her mother was born in North Carolina. I think Mr. Johnson may have been Rufus B. Johnson of Co. A, 5th Miss Cav from Webster County, Mississippi. If anyone can get me in contact with any of Rufus Johnson's decendants, please do so.
