I am looking for descendents of the Bell family of South Leith in Midlothian, Scotland, in particular any living descendents of the Rev. Lindsay Bell (1825-1895) and Lt. Col. Oswald Bell of the 12th Madras Native Infantry (1808-1882). Also any descendents of Captain William Bell of the Bengal Horse Artillery (1792-1836). All the above gentlemen are from the family of Charles Bell wine merchant of South Leith (1756-1832) son of William Bell merchant of South Leith (1719-1794).
