Hello Ms. Kirkland,
My name is Jonessa Lindsey and my father's family is from South Hill Virginia. His name was John Henry Baskerville, and his father's name was John Baskerville. My grandfather Baskerville married a lady named Lucy Taylor, who was also from the South Hill, VA/Lawrenceville Virginia area.
My dad had two brothers, one of whom is still living. My uncle who has passed away name was Charles. My living uncle's name is Thomas. These three names, (John, Thomas, and Charles), seem to follow along within the family. My brother's name is Charles, and as you may see, I was named for my father.
It would be wonderful to find out more about our family so I would like to keep in touch with you either by this forum, or by email. My brother and I were at the old home site in South Hill a few weeks ago. Not much growth in the immediate area, and the family is getting old. My brother and I are both in our early 50's and neither of us has any children. It would be great to meet more of our father's family. Please get in touch soon.
