I also come from the William, Walter, John, Jane and Richard Baskerville, Vaughan, Jane Poyntz and Peter Corbett Lines. These lines go way back to the 1100's to Shropshire and Herefordshire, England. The Corbett's owned Caus Castle in Shropshire and the Baskerwille's owned Eardisley Castle in Herefordshire, England. I was very intrigued to find a family line back this far and looked up the Castles on Wikipedia.com and found the information about Caus and Eardisley Castles and the owners were in my family tree, and it sound like yours as well.
Did you have any Carr (Kerr) ancestors from Rhode Island? There is a Caleb Carr from Rhode Island who was Governor in my family line. My family connection with the Baskerville/Corbett line start with the Middleton, Turner, Bailey, lines in Harlan County, Kentucky and goes to the Kerr (Carr), Vaughan, Butler, Monington, Corbett, Baskerville family lines all the way back to the 1100's England.
