When I found the name Ellen Baskerville as the mother on my great-grandmother's birth certificate I started researching her and her family but had very limited success. (See my posting of 23/7/05). Eventually I was contacted by Melanie, who is also researching this line, who came up with a theory I could scarcely believe. This prompted me to re-double my efforts and between us, we came to some very surprising conclusions. This has turned out to be a very complicated line and is still a bit controversial in places. The whole story is far too long to put here but it has inspired me to start my own Genealogy Website to present all the evidence and the conclusions we've drawn. It's at http://www.kayrodbourn.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk I'd welcome any comments or queries either here or via the email links on the site. Key names in this story include: Ellen Baskerville Elizabeth Baskerville Emma Baskerville Ralph Baskerville William Baskerville William Albert Baskerville Alice Elsie Craig Ellen Elizabeth Craig Ellen Maud Craig John Henry Craig Nelly Craig Edward Larkman Edward Brooke Larkman Ellen Larkman Ellen Booth Larkman Elizabeth Larkman Emma Larkman Emma Baskerville Larkman Betsey Parkhouse Caroline Parkhouse Edward Parkhouse Edwin Parkhouse Elizabeth Parkhouse Ellen Parkhouse Matilda Parkhouse Sarah Parkhouse Elizabeth Phillips Henry Phillips Elizabeth Smith Samuel Smith Ellen Westcott Maud Westcott Maud Elizabeth Ellen Westcott Thomas Westcott William Westcott Kay Notify Administrator about this message?
