Hi, I spend the day in the Richmond Virginia Lib. on 1/14/03 and i have looked through the Mecklenburg, county Reel#31 year 1883-1935 I found my GreatGrandParents and GreatGreatParents. so now I am trying to re trace my steps. In 1903 Feb. 12 my grandfather Joseph"Billy Joe" Baskerville married Laura Shaw who was a widower. Joseph Baskerville father name was Wyatt Baskerville and his mother Millie but I do not know her maiden name. Laura Shaw maiden name was Read or Rives she is on the 1800 census as living with her grandfather Wiley Lashley and her Mother Alsie Lashley no father is listed. her mother name listed on the marriage census is Alsie Read I have a land deed that is in the Cedar Church district a family deed, 64.57 ACRES.to be pass down to generations. the problem is that no one seem to know much about this paper that I found in my grandmother's posseions when she died her name was Nannie Baskerville Boyd(Joseph Baskerville Daughter). She married a Boyd from Macon North Carolina. as I check for Baskervilles on the Marriage Census there were numerous Baskervilles and they all enter married, Baskerville's Married Baskerville's and as i observed location and family members we are all related. that encludes Alexanders as well and Marks, jackie Please take the time and visit the Virginia Lib. and call me when this happen I will meet you there. I have relocated from Boston, Mass back to Richmond. Please send this to Denise Oliver-Velez Thank you Notify Administrator about this message?
