I am so excited!!!
I am a descendant of the Bakerville-Winn-Allen Family!!!
My great grandmother was Mary Belle Baskerville and she married George Winn. My grandmother was Nancy Belle Winn and she was named after her grandmother Nancy Allen who had many children by the Irishman William Winn (George being one of them). My grandmother's siblings were: William (Uncle Billy), Walter, Panny, Alice (Aunt Peter), Lucia Mae (Aunt Kitty), and Aunt Dicky. Somehow, Grama, Uncle Billy and Uncle Walter came to spell Winn as Wynn.
Grama came to Pittsburgh PA with her brothers and sister Kitty and several of her male cousins (the Allens) followed: Cousin Chester, Cousin Warren, Cousin Ashton, and Cousin Sante. Cousins Chester and Sante are still alive and I have a relationship with several of their children. Annette Allen is Cousin Chester'd daughter and Cousin Sante has several Cheryl, Bernandine, Bernice, Claudia and a son.
I missed the last Winn-Baskerville-Allen reunion two summers ago. Did you go?
My grandmother was the last living Winn prior to her death in August of 2000.
