We have an Elizabeth Bastable/Bastefield in our line, born <1805 in the West Midlands UK. On checking both the IGI and local census reports we have come up with BASTABLES BASTEFIELDS BASTERFIELDS BASKERFIELDS and BASKERVILLES. They all appear to be conected bur which would be the correct name? Any ideas!
