This is the information I have found on my line of family who moved from Sandusky Ohio to Swedona, Mercer County, Illinois.
Wm. Jr & Margaret Sanford (Bristol MA)son William born 1762 Bristol MA died Jul 16 1834. Married Mercy Crapo on Feb 10, 1784 Bristol MA. (Mercy Crapo daughter of Consider Crapo and Mercy Waste (West?) (Crapos were from Bordeaux, France and canada. Wm and Mercy had 1 son (my line) (don't know if there were any other children ):Consider Crapo Barney b Feb 1791 N. Freetown, Bristol MA died Dec 29 1881 Richland Grove Township, Mercer County IL. (buried in Western Cemetery Swedona IL (I have all Barney & Wilcox cemetery photos from this cemetery). He married Hannah Freese Jul 27, 1828 Sandusky OH (daughter of John Frease (Freese). They had 3 children (that I know of) William Barney B 1830 D: Dec 5, 1888 in Richland Grove Township, Mercer Co, IL. John F. Barney, born 1834 in Richland Grove Twp, Mercer Co, died May 14, 1864, killed in battle Civil War in Recasa, GA. and Elias Barney born 1835 in Sandusky OH, died 1912 Richland Grove Township Mercer County IL. Elias married Ersula Wilcox in 1865 in Mercer County IL. Daughter of Almond and Charlotte Wilcox. Ersula was born in 1842 in Richland Grove Township Mercer Co, IL.
Elias and Ersula had children: Vona Mae b. Nov 14, 1881 in Richland Grove Twp. D 1936 in Moline Hospital, Rock Island County, IL. Angsuette (Ann J.) born 1862 same
Rozalia (Rosalia) born 1864, Aluirin born 1866, William born 1868, Charlotte born 1870, died Jan 2, 1872, Elsia b 1874, Alice, died Jue 10,l872 and Nora B. b. 1877 died May 30, 1896 aged 19 yrs, 8 ms & 17 ds.

Vona Mae married John Sherman Adams (born Montour County PA)
on Oct 17, 1902 in Rock Island, IL. (John son of Samuel and Laanna Snyder Adams of Montour Co PA)
Their children: Louise Mae b Jul 27, 1918 Preemption, Mercer Co, IL d Feb 21, 2000 East Moline, Rock Island County IL.
Married Charles Warner Kinsey June 6 in Rock Island IL
2 children Donna Mae b jul 6 1940 and Teresa Louise b Jul 27, 1957.
Virgil Adams, Bethel Rose, Thomas, Margaret, Evelyn,Mary Phyllis, Russell, Robert and 1 infant died.
Consider Crapo Barney purchased land in Ohio on Mar 24, 1824
and on July 1, 1845, he purchased land in Illinois (40 acres)
Ersula Wilcox Barneys father Almond purchased 71 acres in the same area on May 20, 1841.
The cemetery I visited is on a rural road located close to where there was once a Barney Schoolhouse (according to the Plats at the Mercer County Historical Society Museum)and the Barney family lived at that location as well.
This line are also descendants of Edward-Jacob-Jacob Jr, etc. Hope this helps someone- and possibly find more information for my records as well.
