I have good news for researchers of the Barney family.
Your family's antique photographs has been located!
I am Robert D. King and in my travels, I see family photos lost in antique stores and for sale on ebay. I think that is sad knowing that there are family tree researchers and descendants, that would treasure those photos. So I have decided to try and do something about it by returning as many as I can to their rightful families.
So I buy photos with names and dates or places on them and list them on my webpage, so descendants of these lost souls can find them and bring them home.
Recently, I was able to aquire
four very unique photos of Virginia Barney.
Three of the photos show a boy and a girl in
a horse drawn carriage with an older man.
The inscription reads: “Uncle Billy and Chester
& Virginia Barney - about 1906 or before”
The fourth photo, from a couple of years earlier,
shows a man nuzzling a baby girl and on the back it says:
“Virginia Barney – three months old – May 1901”
