Thank you, Cliff. However, there's still some confusion in my mind about the parentage of John Barney III.
His mother must be Sarah "Sally" Grow rather than Ruth Shepardson, his father's second wife, as he was born only two weeks before Sarah Grow's death. I find it rather confusing, however, that he married a woman with the exact same name as his mother?
His wife's parents were Nathaniel Grow and Susanna Dowe. Do you have any idea of the parents of his mother, also named Sarah "Sally" Grow?
