I am the great-grandson of Mary Louisa Lawless Aylor who is buried in Sobol Cemetery, Sobol, OK. My great-grandfather, John Aylor, brought her back from Hunt Co., TX where she died, to be buried with her Lawless family. John Thomas Aylor, son of Anthony and Anna Hill Aylor, is buried in Etter Lake Cemetery, Hunt Co., TX. As his health failed, John Thomas Aylor asked my grandmother to bury him in Etter Lake cemetery by my mother's baby girl instead of taking his body back to Sobol.
John Thomas and Mary Louisa Lawless had two children, Arlander (Arlie) and Anna Zoda Bell Aylor who married Walter William Spears. Arlie had consumption and his parents were advised to get him to a more arid part of the country. John and Mary Louisa Aylor sold their farm in Mountain, Pike Co., AR and started for Texas. Arlie died somewhere along the way.
I have collected extensive information on all Aylor families of GA, TN, Al and AR and will be happy to share what I know.
