I know that G.W. Aylor was born in 1833 TN. I do not know who his parents were. I know nothing about him until 1861. He appears to have inlisted in the Confederate Army that year. At the battle of Murfreesboro he earned the Confederate Medal of Honor and at the Battle of Chickamagua he was captured.After that I find him on the 1880 Clark County Census. After that nothing. Lots of holes. Big one to fill is when and where did he die.
