Happy to see your posting. James Russell Aylor was my G. Grandfather. My infomation is that he was born in TN in 1818. His childrens census data reports he was born in TN. He first purchased land in Clark County AR in late 1849.I can't yet prove it, but I believe his father to be either George, John or Anthony. All were married in Jasper county ga then migrated to TN. I have nothing to support his being a brother to Anthony born in GA in 1824.
