Jean-Baptiste AUBIN and Lucie LAPLANTE were the parents of my gggrandmother (Philomene AUBIN) on my mother's side.
Philomene AUBIN married my gggrandfather (Felix CADIEUX) on 07 June 1858 in Papineauville, Papineau. They had at least one child, my ggrandfather (Jean-Baptiste CADIEUX, who married Rose de Lima PROVOST on 04 July 1887 in L'Outaouais, Hull.
I urge you to contact the American-Canadian Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 6478, Manchester, NH 03108-6478, to have your ancestry traced. I just got mine done and they did a fabulous job for very reasonable fees.
