I am seeking details about the ancestors of my GGGF, Charles David Aubin, who was born about 1817 in Wolverhampton, Staffs, England. We believe that his father was also also Charles Aubin and family folklore has it that his father (David St Aubin - we think) was possibly a Royal Naval Captain around the time of Trafalgar, having escaped from France prior to the Revolution. Any details would be greatly appreciated.
