Folks,

I'm trying to connect my early Ohio CARRELs (CARROLLs) (CARLEs). Philip and George Carroll both served in the War of 1812 from Ohio. Philip from Jefferson County and George I believe from Licking County. Philip was killed in the war and his son Anthony Wayne Carrel ended up in Licking County were he married Balinda ROOT in 1826. George Carrell married Jamima WARD. Ephraim Taylor Carle seems to be the first Carl/Carle/Carrell/Carroll in Jefferson County, from PA about 1805. Philip and Anthony are my ancestors.

Are these people related? Any help appreciated.

Eric
