Hi Marilyn,

I don't know anything of John Aubert's parents or siblings. In addition to John Aubert and Peter Aubert, there was also a Matthias (or Matthew) Aubert in Chicago about the same time. I think that John and Matthias were related but I don't know how (Matthias was 10 - 15 years older, but also from Prussia). I'm also researching the possibilty that John Aubert lived in Indiana and fought in the Civil War before moving to Chicago.
I've come across your Peter at the LDS web sight, so I'm sort of familiar with him.
