Jackie, my husband descends 6 generations down from Latham Graves & Elizabeth. James Graves and Lucinda were his gt. gt. grandparents. I do try to vertify my information with various records. I have heard of Mr. Lott but have not seen his book or read it. I do some of my research via the internet too but you just can't do it all that way. I started researching my own family about nine yrs. ago and it is still a work in progress which involves doing my husband's lines too. Sometimes there aren't records to connect people with families. I think the DNA projects may help connect people with the same surnames if enough people participate in them to compare individual DNA with others. Yes, Robin Sterling has a fine site. I have personally contacted him. Thanks for Mr. Lott's address and email address. I will definately contact him. At present I am not aware of any of his line going to Mississippi except some that were in his Graves line. Mrs. Patricia Griggs Stricklin
