Hi,
I have just recently received the obituary for my gggrandfather. W.D. Ritter. It states
" Died in Neosho, of paralysis, July 2nd (1894), W.D.Ritter, aged about fifty- two years. Deceased was a Kentuckian by birth and the first settler of Fairland. He had his faults; let them lie with him in Mother earth. His virtures were many; let us emulate them."
ok, my question is where is Neosho in relation to Fairland?
He married Nancy Wolf, grandaughter of Dennis Wolf and Isabelle Fields. Nancy died 1891. I know where they are buried, it is just the process of getting to OK,lol. just looking for any further information regarding them and where they lived etc.
