Hi i'm trying to figure out how my great grandmother ened up with the name Nane Craotan, Aldrich. I found out that her mom was lizzie Aldrich from the census, found out that it was her step-mom. her dad was Fredick Aldrich. Then my 2nd cousin and i found out that her birth mom was either Eliza/elizabeth Nevels. I found out from the GA archives that the Croatans where from NC. Which was The lost Colony, so i'm thinking that her mom was adopted into the white familyand was rasied as white instead of Native American. If there is anyone out there that could help me with this brick wall please do. I thank you a head of time.
