I have been researching our family for several years and sm now at a dead end. I am looking for info on Mary Jane Wolf, sometimes shown in census records as Sarah Jane Wolf.She was born in Ark. She was married to Hugh Torbett. They had 4 children that I know of, John O.Torbett dob: May 1876, Neria dob: June 1878, Nona B., dob: 1879, and May dob: 1897, all born in Indian Territory, Ok. My father said that we are Indian, however, never said what tribe. I have tried looking on the rolls but do not find my grandmother, Neria listed there. Also, her name is spelled Neria on her death certificate, but her name is pronounced Neerah, which my father said just meant daughter or something like that. Any help would be greatly appriciated. I wisj I had listened and paid more attention when my father and grand-mother were alive. Now, that I am older I want to know my families history and pass it on to my children.
