Coosada Village, Jackson, Alabama, Cherokee?

One pre-1850 map of northeast Alabama labels a "Coosada Village and I.d" (d is in superscript). I have found this village on only one other map.

On several other maps circa 1850, I have found a Coosada Creek. Alternate spellings include Cosauda and Coosauda.

Some maps before and after this date label this Creek as Rileys Creek, and today it may be called Jones Creek.

This creek flows from the east into the Tennessee River just south of Bellefonte, Jackson, Alabama. It is well into the area of the Cherokee cession.

Was there a Cherokee tribe called Coosada?

What does the I.d mean after the map name, Coosada Village?
